Psychiatric services are provided at BHS through contracted psychiatrists.  These services include psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management for clients with major mental illness as well as other behavioral or emotional problems.

Community Support - Substance Abuse

The Community Support Program (CSP) is designed to provide/develop the necessary services and support which enable the individual to live successfully in the community.  This is accomplished through providing consumer advocacy, providing skills training, and assisting the consumer in securing housing, transportation, employment, access to medical/dental/mental health care, and other related needs.

Project Connect

Project Connect is a multi-faceted program designed to connect substance abusing youth and their families to any needed services, training and support.  This program is designed to help them improve their lives and to be successful in meeting the requirements ordered through the court system.

Crisis Response

Crisis Response provides 24/7 access to trained mental health and substance abuse providers to assist with ensuring that individuals in crisis are served in the least restrictive, most normative setting possible.  The aim of Crisis Response is to connect individuals with community-based services and contribute to reduced recidivism rates of re-hospitalization.

Employee Assistance Program

The Employee Assistance Program (EAP Works) is purchased by Employers to reduce the impact of personal problems in the work place.  Counseling, addiction services, and management consultations are some of the services offered through EAP Works.  Employers may purchase fee-for-service or contracted services.
