Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) - TEAM Program
Our IOP dual disorders program, called “TEAM”, focuses on aiding individuals in making lifestyle changes in order to maintain a life free from substance abuse and addiction. The TEAM program serves both youth (ages 13-18) and adults (age 19 & above) and involves a minimum of 10 hours of service each week with lengths of stay that range from six to eleven weeks or more, dependent on the needs and presenting issues of the individual served. Parent/family participation is a strong component of care.
Chemical dependency is viewed as a multi-faceted and multi-determined dysfunction, which tragically destroys individuals, relationships, and families. The TEAM program is eclectically oriented, employing a variety of treatment strategies to emphasize abstinence and development of appropriate coping strategies as primary treatment goals.
Treatment approaches with participants include cognitive-behavioral retraining, rational emotive therapy, strategic family therapy approaches, psychodrama, Gestalt therapy, and the traditional 12 Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous.
