Our professional clinical staff are among the most highly trained and experienced mental health and substance abuse professionals in Nebraska and are licensed in their field of expertise (Alcohol/Drug Counselors, Clinical Social Workers, Mental Health Professionals, Psychologists, Psychiatry, Nursing, Marriage & Family Therapists, etc.) and are often cross trained with a combination of licenses to enhance service provision to individuals with dual disorders.
Clinical internships and training in the delivery of mental health and substance abuse services are available for qualifying BA, MA, & PhD level students at our various facility sites. In cooperation with the Norfolk Regional Center’s clinical psychology doctoral internship training program, which is accredited by the American Psychological Association, BHS participates through providing a community based internship site.
